Morning: Arrival in New Delhi airport at 08.20am and meet your Expedition Leader and driver.
Afternoon: sightseeing. Experience the new culture and local guide and driver will take you to see the Mahatma Gandhi Museum.
Night: Overnight Delhi at Claridges Hotel room + B’fast.
Morning: Easy morning and get ready to explore the old parts and new markets of Delhi. Sightseeing in Delhi to visit the Raj Ghat, the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi.
Afternoon: tour of New Delhi that takes you past the presidential palace, the national parliament the India Gate and more. Then you visit the 800-year-old Qutub Minar, the world’s tallest brick minaret and the Iron Pillar.
Night: Evening dinner at the Hotel and overnight Maiden’s Inn or Claridges in Delhi.
Morning: After breakfast, early train to Agra, a city whose very name evokes the romanticism and exoticism of India. On arrival, check in at the hotel.
Afternoon: Visit to Agra Fort and later visiting Taj Mahal during the sunset. The fateful tale of love and loss that inspired the Taj is as incredible as the tomb itself. Commissioned by the broken-hearted Emperor Shah Jahan after his beloved wife died in
childbirth, this masterpiece of Islamic architecture took some 20,000 labourers and artisans nearly two decades to complete (at a cost of more than $1 billion in today’s money). Your first glimpse of the Taj Mahal—perfectly timed to coincide with the setting sun—will literally
take your breath away.
Night: Hotel Agra Trident or Radisson Blu: Room + B’fast.
Morning: After breakfast drive to Karauli and Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri. The abandoned, ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri lies some 40 km from Agra. The city was built by the Emperor Akbar in 1569, in honour of Saint Sheikh Salim Chisti, who prophesied that Akbar would have three sons. For 14 years Fatehpur Sikri was Akbar’s capital until a lack of water forced the city to be abandoned. The city is remarkably well-preserved, and visitors can see the Jama Masjid, the tomb of Salim Chisti, and several palaces.
Afternoon: Visit Bharatpur for the afternoon for the cultural experience of Rajsthan.
Night: Evening drive to Karauli a small town experience and overnight at the Hotel.
Morning: Easy morning and visit the town and markets soon after drive to Wildlife national park Ranthambhore.
Afternoon: Proceed for shared Jeep Safari. The safari will be till evening 1700 - 1800 hr and then return to the Camp.
Night: Overnight Ranthambore: Khem Villas – Tented Accommodation, Dinner, B’fast, lunch.
Morning: Wake up early morning and leave for your safari into the National Park. Track the tigers and other wildlife through the morning safari. Our two game drives give you ample opportunity to spot Ranthambore’s famously inquisitive tigers but if you don’t spot any tigers, don’t worry, there is plenty of other wildlife for you to admire, from foxes and hyenas to some incredibly rare birds. Return to the Camp lodge by 10:00 hrs. Freshen up and your breakfast would be ready. Rest of the time to relax at the resort. You have a choice to spend time at the pool or visits the town.
Afternoon: Proceed for afternoon safari. The safari will be till evening 1700 - 1800 hr and then return to the Camp.
Night: Rathembore: Khem Villas – Tented Accommodation, Dinner, Lunch, B’fast.
Morning and Afternoon: We take to the road after breakfast towards Jaipur, Jaipur is a city of history and tradition, dating back to its foundation in the 17th century by Sawai Jai Singh, from whom it derives its name. Jai Sing meticulously planned the civic layout of Jaipur, with wide roads and impressive architecture, all of which is painted pink to this day. Jaipur is almost equidistant from Delhi and Agra, and forms part of the famed Golden Triangle, which so many visitors to north India take.
Night: Samode Haveli Room, B’fast.
Morning: Follow in the footsteps of the Mughals with an elephant trek to the amazing Amber Fort, which imperiously looks down on the city from atop the Hill of Eagles. You don’t just come here for the views – the Amber Fort is a majestic blend of Hindu and Mughal architecture built with red sandstone and white marble. The imposing and forbidding exterior belies the beautiful fusion of art and architecture behind the ramparts.
Afternoon: Back in Jaipur, a sightseeing tour takes us to visit the City Palace, with its elaborately carved doorways and the Jantar Mantar observatory.
Night: Overnight Samode Haveli Room, B’fast.
Morning: Late afternoon proceed to visit a local family, who will welcome you to their home.
Afternoon: Join them in their kitchen and learn about the Indian spices and curry. You can even help them in their kitchen.
Night: After the cooking demonstration joins them for dinner at their dinner table. Talk over the Indian living and culture. Overnight Jaipur at Samode Haveli Room, B’fast.
Morning and Afternoon: Breakfast at the hotel, on time pick up from hotel and transfer
by Airport and fly to Jaisalmer.
Night: Overnight hotel.
Morning: After breakfast visit the silent 12th century Fort built by Prince Jaisal and the Palace which stands at the highest point (100 metres) above the marketplace. Also visit the Jain Temples (12th-15th centuries) which lie within the fort complex. Visit Nathmal ki Haveli the last of the great havelis. Also visit Gadi-sar an artificial lake that was an important source of water in the past.
Afternoon: Jeep Safari and enjoy some Camel safari and villages and local communities.
Night: Overnight Jaisalmer.
Morning and Afternoon: After breakfast drive to Jodhpur visit Mehrangarh Fort. Considered one of India's best forts, this invincible stronghold of the Marwars sits on a steep hill lording over a wonderful view of its surroundings. It is also a beautiful fort and undoubtedly, the jewel of Jodhpur. Jaswant Thada - a white marble memorial built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant II in 1899.
Night: Overnight.
Morning and Afternoon: Today early start drive to the famous town Udaipur. The city is replete with fantastic hilltop fortresses, exotic fairy-tale palaces and gripping legends of medieval chivalry and heroism.
Night: Overnight at Hotel.
Morning: Breakfast at hotel – start your city tour, The City Palace - was built in 1725 of granite and marble with filigreed balconies, ornate windows and craftsmanship in glass. The royal palace walls stretch over a mile on the eastern side of the lake. Later enjoy a two-hour boat-ride on Lake Pichola, visiting many of the ghats (banks) where ablutions and meditation take place, and enjoy excellent views of the Lake Palace and City Palace.
Afternoon: Also visit jag Mandir Palace formally the Royal Residence, Sahelio Ki Bari.
