Safety comes first

We want our Travellers to feel safe and, in the unlikely event of any problems or accidents, for the situations to be expertly and considerately handled.

15 years of safe trips in India & The Himalayas

We have decades of combined experience running safe expeditions. We understand the terrain, climate and other local challenges and build this knowledge into our tailored itineraries. Trekking in India & The Himalayas can be demanding and so early and detailed planning is important to ensure that everyone remains safe. At an individual level, it’s about finding the right level of challenge…and every Traveller is different.

We also want our Travellers to have fun

We also want our Travellers to have fun and with meticulous planning by our Field Operations Team, plenty of interaction with Teachers, Students and Parents before the trip and being flexible to local circumstances in the mountains, we make sure our treks are demanding, rewarding and fun.

Local Support

In country, our Field Operations Team based in Shimla, is a close-knit team of educated and trained local ‘Paharis’ (mountain people) who speak English and have decades of experience in India & The Himalayas. This Team provide ground support for expeditions across the region, including Rishikesh, Leh, Gengtok and Kathmandu. We are professionals with our own equipment, excellent knowledge of the terrain and understand that it’s important that everyone feels safe throughout the expedition.

It’s a combination of training, experience and practical knowledge of local circumstances that means that our trek guides are able to make the right decisions when needed.
